2024 was another very successful year for Holm Security. We made significant product improvements, strengthening our position as the market leader within proactive cyber defense. I would like to thank you for being a customer or partner of Holm Security!

A summary of the 2024 security landscape

The 2024 security landscape has been dominated by AI-driven threats, such as phishing attacks and sophisticated ransomware attacks, new and more stringent regulatory demands like NIS2, and identity security, alongside a growing number of vulnerabilities in cloud-native platforms, OT (operational technology) and IoT.

What’s going on at Holm Security?

So what has been going on at Holm Security this year? Here are some highlights.

  • Released several major platform improvements – see the highlights from the year below.
  • The entire company went to Tarragona, Spain, as a reward for great performance in 2023.
  • Became ISO 27001 certified, a testament to our commitment to information security.
  • Integrated interactive platform support in Security Center to support onboarding, feature adoption, customer feedback, and more.
  • Published a fantastic NIS2 reference guide and a full website section about the new regulation.
  • We have ramped up insight communication, providing our customers with more valuable information about cyber security trends, insights and current threats.

A summary of the 2024 platform releases

We released many product improvements and news during 2024. Here are some of the highlights. Read about all releases here.

  • We released a new dashboard, significantly improving insights into key metrics.
  • Released industry benchmark to compare account risk score with others in the industry and globally.
  • More granular RBAC (Role Base Access Control) with team support.
  • New domain asset monitoring.
  • Improved assessment capabilities using Device Agent, covering all relevant vulnerabilities (software, Windows Store, and patches).
  • Improved scanning performance and accuracy for System & Network Security and Web Application Security.
  • Added support for Oracle Cloud in Cloud Security.
  • Improved coverage and performance for API Security.
  • Improved threat intelligence by adding CISA and VulnCheck KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities), making it a total of 30 sources for exploits.

Coming up in the platform 2025

So, what is coming up in the platform going forward? The main focus for 2025 is to strengthen the current platform products, improve the product experience and workflows, and ensure that all products are fully integrated to make your work as efficient as possible.

Here are some more highlights of what’s coming up:

  • Proxy support for platform on-premise deployment.
  • Unified remediation and event monitoring (today called Continuous Monitoring).
  • Asset management for cloud-native platforms with the product Cloud Security.
  • Improved management of vulnerability exceptions.

ISO 27001 certified

Information security and cyber security have always been a top priority for Holm Security, as we process and store highly sensitive data for our customers. But how can we prove that? Well, we are now ISO 27001:2022 certified, confirming our commitment to information security. If you would like more details about our certification, please reach out.

Being ISO 27001 certified also means that we’re well prepared for NIS2 and can follow this new regulation.
